What are Dental Implants ?

Dental implants are medical devices surgically implanted into the jaw to restore a person's ability to chew or their appearance. They provide support for artificial (fake) teeth, such as crowns, bridges, or dentures.

Dental implants are a more effective substitute for dental bridges or dentures. They are titanium screws that can replace missing or decayed tooth.Like dental bridges and dentures, implants can restore smiles and chewing function impaired due to missing or damaged teeth.

However, unlike dentures, or dental bridges dental implants are permanent solutions for your missing or damaged teeth. A dental implant to support a dental crown can work very much like a real tooth. If you are looking for reliable and quality alternatives to dental bridges or dentures in order to replace your missing teeth or teeth need to be extracted, dental implants may be the perfect solution for you. You can replace a single tooth or multiple teeth with Dental Implants. High-quality dental implants are typically very costly especially in Western European countries, USA or Australia.

Rengarenk Dental Turkey offers highly affordable rates for dental implants in Turkey without compromising the quality of the product.

1. What Dental Implants Can Do for You ?

Depending on how many teeth you have missing will depend on the number of Implants you will need. Dental Implants can be used to replace any amount of teeth - from a single missing tooth to full mouth restoration. Our expert dental team will tailor a treatment plan to suit your personal requirements.

Generally we do not replace every missing tooth with a Dental Implant. If you have NO teeth on your upper and lower jaws we will usually place 6 Implants along the upper jaw and 6 Implants along the lower jaw, 12 in total. These Implants will support a full set of 28 teeth (14 teeth along each jaw).

If you have a gap where 3 or 4 teeth are missing along the same row, we will place 2 Dental Implants (one at each end of the gap). These Implants will support a 3 or 4 Tooth Dental Implant Bridge. Alternatively if you only have one tooth missing, we place will place 1 single Dental Implant and Implant Crown.

Your treatment can be completed in two short visits to Turkey. The first visit is for the placing of your Dental Implants. Following your Implant placement you must wait a minimum of 3 months before your permanent Implant Crown(s) can be fitted. This is very important for all patients to ensure your Implants have time to settle and are strong in the jawbone before any weight or force is applied. This will ensure the long-term success of your treatment. During visit one a temporary solution can be applied so you will not return home without the appearance and function of teeth. On your return visit to Turkey we will fit the Implant Crowns or Dental Implant Bridges to the Implants and your treatment will be completed.
Dental Implants and the cost of their placement can command eye-watering prices, often running into the thousands of pounds/ euros or dollars. Dental Centre Turkey offers patients seeking Dental Implants an alternative solution. A solution which comes at a lower cost and does not compromise on the quality of materials used or expertise of our Dentists and Oral Surgeons. Much of this can be attributed to the running costs associated with owning a clinic in Turkey, which is significantly less than that of the running costs of a clinic in your home country. Couple that with the buying power of a group of clinics such as ours, that places an increasingly high number of Implants per month, then the costs are brought down even further. This cost saving is passed on directly to you.

Dental Centre Turkey places Titanium Implants, manufactured from 100% grade 4 or grade 5 Titanium. There are many different types of Titanium that are used for different purposes, building, medical supplies etc. Titanium Grade 4 or Grade 5 is used in the medical field and should be the only type of Titanium used for Dental Implants. We give you a guarantee that we only work with Rengarenk dental Implants that manufactured from 100% Titanium and come with a lifetime guarantee.

Dental implants can be used either to replace a single tooth or restore your whole smile. One of the Oral Surgeons at Rengarenk Dental Turkey will take an assessment of your teeth first, and then we will draw up a custom plan to fix your dental issue. Our dental implants can support up to 28 teeth, with 14 on each jaw. It should be understood that dental implants refer to only one part of the artificial tooth that will be fixed inside your mouth. The part referred to as the implant looks like a screw that is fused with your jawbone. Dental implants are made from various types of material but the best are usually titanium. This metal fuses well with the natural bone and tissue. Titanium is also very long-lasting. We only provide high-quality titanium dental implants to our patients. In addition to the titanium implants, there are two other parts called the abutment and the crown which will be fixed. The crown is the porcelain component made to look like the white enamel of your natural teeth that juts out above the gum. The abudment is a tiny attachment that connects the implant with the crown. Rengarenk Dental Turkey includes the cost of all three in our dental implant quotes so patients are never caught off guard with hidden fees.

Not only do you feel like your own teeth, you also look that way. Compared to the classic bridge, where adjacent teeth have to be ground to support the new teeth and close a gap. When the dental implant treatment Healthy tooth substance is preserved.

From a dental point of view, one of the important benefits is: dental implants provide protection against bone loss. Due to the natural load on the bone, the face retains its profile and its natural facial expressions. Prostheses can be firmly anchored on dental implants. You save patients the disadvantages of conventional dentures, such. B. painful pressure points. For patients wearing a fully removable prosthesis, implant-supported dentures are more comfortable. In addition, the palate remains free of prosthetic material. This has a positive impact on the pronunciation. In addition, the patient gets back his natural taste again.

• The dentures do not slip or fall out
• Intact adjacent teeth do not need to be ground (no loss of healthy tooth substance)
• A prosthesis anchored on dental implants has an excellent grip, pressure sores that cause inflammation are rare
• No bone loss in the jaw.
• Unloaded bone, as is the case with the conventional prosthesis, causes shrinking in the face. The face gets an old, senile appearance with time.
• With an implant, the natural situation is restored, almost as if nothing had happened.
• Pronunciation and facial expression are positively influenced
• The mental stress often associated with wearing a removable prosthesis does not arise at all.

(1) Scheduling

Ideally, you send us an xray picture, and our dentists examine your case. After we agree on the treatment, we schedule your appointments and send you the details of your treatment plan.

(2) Treatment

Before we start your treatment, we will do one more consultation and physically examine your teeth. Local anaesthesia is sufficient for a dental implant procedure. Under hygienic conditions, we begin with preparing the vents for the dental implants by using a specific dental bur. We fit the implants carefully in these vents and seal the upper sides with stitches. After the operation, you can prevent swellings by cooling your cheeks with ice at an interval of 5 minutes. Please be aware that smoking defers wound healing! After the surgery, you should take the prescribed antibiotics, eat smaller meals at frequent intervals, and drink lots of water. If needed, we will make temporary dentures for you.

(3) Healing

The stitches are removed after one week. Typically, 3 days of stay is sufficient for an implant operation. You can either stay here for the stitches or may go back home and have the local dentist take the stitches out. To prevent the creation of bacteria, we recommend you to be careful with your oral hygiene and use mouthwashes.

(4) Recovery

After 2 to 4 months, you will visit our dental clinic in Turkey again. We prepare the implants for the crown fitting and take the necessary measurements. Then our lab technician and dentist work closely together to make your crown look like your natural tooth.

  • For the implant operation, you need to stay at least 3 days in Turkey.
  • On the first day, the implant operation will be conducted and on the third day, we will do the last checks.
  • You may fly back home on the third day, and you may have the stitches taken out by a local dentist one week later. Any dentist can take the stitches out in 5 minutes.
  • Second arrival: After the implant heals and bonds with the bone firmly (generally after 2-3 months), you need to come back for the crowning procedure. The length of your second stay in Turkey depends on the number and type of crowns to be fitted. It can take from 3 to 10 days.
